There have only been two so far, with the third planned for 2015. Each one is different. Our goal is to encourage connections and collaboration by Stamps Scholars, and we also want to help you develop your leadership skills. Stamps Scholars gather every two years at a partner university for a weekend of collaboration, celebration, and fellowship.
The third biennial Stamps Scholars National Convention (SSNC) is an opportunity for Stamps Scholars and administrators across the nation to form connections — inspiring collaboration, building the community and brand of the scholarship, and celebrating the vision of Mr. and Mrs. Stamps.
After wonderfully successful conventions at the University of Miami and the University of Michigan in 2011 and 2013, respectively, the third biennial SSNC will be hosted at the Georgia Institute of Technology in April 2015.
Activities will officially begin with breakfast on Friday, April 10, and continue until mid-day on Sunday, April 12. All Stamps Scholars and Stamps administrators are strongly encouraged to attend! Scholars and administrators will receive additional information and registration details in the fall and spring. Attendees desiring or needing to arrive early (due to distance, etc.) will be able to take advantage of several room blocks at nearby hotels.
